A WHOLE host of rescue pets are in need of loving new homes.

Dorset-based animal rescue charity Margaret Green is looking to find families for dogs, cats and rabbits.

Ace, a five-year-old cat, never sits still according to the rescue centre staff, and loves to show people her belly while rolling around on the floor.

She is described as “very friendly and affectionate” but would need to be the only pet in her new home.

Charlie, also five, is a “sweet lad who enjoys fuss”. He is a homely cat who enjoys pottering in the garden. He would need a quiet home with no other pets.

Thelma, seven, is also described as “sweet and affectionate” and more outgoing than her sister, Louise. The pair would be fine to live with children but would want to be the only pets in their new home.

Two bunnies who are looking for a forever home together are Bambi and Buttons. They are one-year-old Rex cross and Netherland dwarf rabbits.

And two dogs who are hoping to be re-homed are Minty and Ernie.

Minty, a five-year-old Saluki cross is described by rescue staff as a “happy chap” who loves people and cuddles.

He also enjoys going for a walk so is looking for an active family. He would be happy to live with female dogs and older children, but not cats or small furry animals.

Ernie, a one to two-year-old Rough-coated Lurcher, is sociable with other dogs and would be able to live with a similar sized dog. He could live with older children, too, but not with cats or small furry animals.
