FORMER bank manager and volunteer charity worker, Tracy Randell-Snow, has died at the age of 59.

Born in Boscombe, Tracy spent her life in and around the Bournemouth and Poole area. She was raised mainly by her grandparents and attended school at Branksome and Ashley Cross.

Upon leaving school in 1974, Tracy went to work for the NatWest Bank and stayed with them for all her working life. She entered the bank as a clerk, rising to the position of branch manager.

She was a committed and dedicated employee working at a number of branches in the area, retiring as manager from the branch at Castlepoint, Bournemouth, in 2014.

Along with her friend Gay, Tracy ran a youth club for foster children at Branksome Methodist Church.

"This was to be the start of many years' involvement with the well being of those needing help, and grew directly from her Christian faith," said Daniel Campbell of Richmond Hill St Andrew's United Reformed Church.

In later years Tracy became a trustee of Autism Wessex and chair of governors at Portfield School, Parley Lane, Christchurch, where her son Dominic was a pupil, and was a very active fundraiser for them.

"She also became the Safeguarding Officer for Portfield, a position she also took up soon after becoming a member of Richmond Hill St Andrew's United Reformed Church," said Daniel.

Always ready to help others, Tracy became the captain of the 7 Seas, a group associated with those who had retired from NatWest Bank, and she felt privileged to host their annual dinner.

She also volunteered to help at a Women's Refuge in Costa Rica, running several marathons to help the charity.

Holidays were high on her agenda, especially if long haul flights were involved, such as New York, where she loved to shop, plus trips to Barbados, Monte Carlo, Madrid and destinations where she could indulge in her favourite pastime of swimming.

In 1992 Tracy married Dan Randell-Snow at St Hubert's Church, Corfe Mullen and they had two children, Hannah and Dominic.

Sadly, after a relatively short illness, Tracy passed away on October 7 at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital with Dan and Gay at her side. Her funeral service was held at Richmond Hill St Andrew's United Reformed Church.
