Donated blood saves lives. But the National Blood Service needs to bank 500 pints a week until July to be cover the shortfall in donations caused by the Olympic Games and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
That's where you come in.
If you've never given blood before, we want you to sign up. If you've been a blood donor before but haven't been for a while, we want you to go back.
Just one bag of blood can used to help treat anaemia, cancer AND those having surgery.
