AS a fellowship of believers, our church has taken the following verse as its verse for the year: “...but the people who know their God shall be strong and do great exploits” (Daniel 11:32b, NKJV).
The challenge of this verse is surely huge for all believers and at first glance is three-fold.
1) Relationship: do I know my God? As in do I really know Him intimately?
2) Resource: am I strong in and because of Him?
3) Result: what “great exploits"” are the consequences of my relationship with my God?
I’m sure you'll agree – a lot to think about, and a challenge for us all to rise to as we enter this New Year!
