THE countdown has begun to the second annual Daily Echo Independent Schools Show.

Representatives from the best in private education across the area will all be under one roof to help parents make a decision about their children’s education.

So far nine schools have signed up to the event and there is still time for others to get involved.

The schools confirmed so far are Clayesmore Preparatory, Clayesmore Senior, Durlston Court, Ryde School, Talbot Heath, Moyles Court, Talbot House, Buckholme Towers, Forres Sandle Manor and Bournemouth Collegiate School.

The event will take place in the magnificent setting of Upton House in Poole on Saturday October 7 between 10.30am and 3pm and entry is free.

The wide range of schools covers all age groups and a wide area including Dorset, the New Forest and the Isle of Wight.

It is a unique event that will give parents and guardians the opportunity to talk to those representing independent schools in the local area and to discuss the outstanding education they can provide. All are welcome including the children themselves. There will also be the chance to win one of two £100 clothing vouchers from your preferred supplier.

Angela Boyer, Boyer, Sales & Events Manager at the Daily Echo said: "Now in its second year, the show is a unique opportunity to meet representatives from a range of independent schools catering for 4 – 18 years old. The event, all under one roof at Upton House will showcase some of the very best day and boarding schools.
