ONE of Bournemouth’s best-known head teachers is leaving her post at the end of April.
Dr Annetta Minard, executive principal of the LeAF Multi Academy Trust, has resigned and will move to a new job with the Studio Schools Trust.
Dr Minard, who was head of Oakmead College of Technology for many years, currently has overall responsibility for two nurseries, the Elm Primary Academy, Oak Academy and the Studio School.
The Studio School has an Elite Athlete Academy as well as Stage and Screen training. Elm Academy recently topped the primary school league tables in Bournemouth.
All the schools in LeAF, the North Bournemouth Learning and Achievement Federation, are based on one site at Duck Lane in Kinson.
A spokeswoman for LeAF told the Daily Echo: “The chair of governors has confirmed that Dr Minard has resigned her position as executive principal with effect from April 30, 2015, to take up a new role with the Studio Schools Trust.”
