Colin Harding sent in this photograph taken in 1910 by Cyclorama Photochrome of the Hawthornes Hotel, West Cliff Road, Bournemouth, which later became the Wessex Hotel.
The original photograph is backed on to plywood and is housed in the George and Harding archives.
Family legend has it that it was built as a hotel in 1910, following on from the Savoy Hotel, completed in 1908.
