Picture of the Day: School's mock election in 1983
Priory CE VA Primary School in Christchurch held its own mock election during the General Election of 1983. The young Conservative candidate, Stephen Pateman, romped home with 54 votes. He is seen here celebrating his win with his rivals Richard Lane for Labour and Independent candidates Joanne Roberts and Matthew Brooks.
