Picture of the Day: Bournemouth Square taxi rank circa 1949-51
Tony Bevan of Bournemouth thought readers would like this photograph of the taxi rank outside the National Provincial Bank (now Natwest Bank) and Riddett & Adams Smith estate agents at Bournemouth Square circa 1949-51.
The cars are from the left, 1936 Austin 12, 1937 Wolseley, 1929 Packard long vehicle and 1937 Hudson with taxi driver Mr Herridge and another man. Mr Herridge was his first wife's father.
