Picture of the Day: The Imperial Hotel at Lansdowne in 1905
This postcard of the Imperial Hotel at the Lansdowne, Bournemouth, is postmarked 1905 and belongs to Bournemouth resident Anthony Beare. Built in 1887, it cost in the excess of £10,000 and replaced Bow wood House that stood on the corner.
