Picture of the Day: This is Boscombe Hospital's modernised theatre in 1977
This Saturday the Royal Bournemouth Hospital surgical theatres have an open day from 10am until 4pm.
Back in 1977 Gareth Jenkins, deputy hospital administrator, had a patient's view of one of the modernised operating theatres at Boscombe Hospital, with nurses May Dedman and Wendy Edes and assistant Jackie Hodson.
