These stunning sculptures form part of a winding art trail through the beautiful gardens and grounds of Beaulieu this summer.

Created by a number of talented emerging and established sculptors from across the south of England, the Surrey Sculpture Society's (SSS) attraction is returning to the award-winning venue, set in the heart of the New Forest for a sixth year, until August 11.

Some smaller sculptures will also be on display inside Palace House - which has been home to the Montagu family since 1538 - for the exhibition.

Visitors will be able to discover figurative, animal and abstract sculptures along the trail, which runs from the Ornamental Victorian Kitchen Garden to the serenity of the Millpond Walk.

The pieces range from traditional to contemporary styles, and organisers hope the event will offer broad appeal to suit all tastes and budgets.

“The Surrey Sculpture Society is delighted to be invited back once again to Beaulieu, said Henriette van der Does, chairman of the SSS.

"This prestigious location, with its attractive gardens, provides the perfect setting for our artists’ work and we value the collaboration with Beaulieu.

"Visitors will see a wide variety of work from small to large pieces and in a broad range of materials. There is something for everyone to enjoy, with all sculptures for sale.”

Lord Montague is also thrilled the attraction is returning to Beaulieu.

"I am delighted to welcome the Surrey Sculpture Society back to Beaulieu to exhibit a really interesting range of different works," he said.

"Palace House and the gardens are the perfect backdrop for the society’s sculptures, which are greatly enjoyed by the thousands of visitors who come here each summer.”

The Surrey Sculpture Society has grown from just 14 original members some 22 years ago into a substantial and well respected regional arts organisation, now with more than 350 members, ranging from talented amateurs to top professionals who work on major public commissions.

The society aims to promote interaction between sculptors to organise exhibitions and encourage an appreciation of sculpture.

Its 2016 schedule of exhibitions includes the prestigious venues of Beaulieu as well as RHS Wisley, RHS Hyde Hall and The Landmark Arts Centre.

Exhibitions in previous years have been held at Guildford Cathedral, Loseley Park, Fulham Palace and Denbies Vineyard. The SSS also takes part in the AppART Exhibition and hosts a programme of lectures, given by renowned sculptors.

The exhibition at Beaulieu will be open from 10am daily and entrance is included in the Beaulieu admission ticket, which also includes entry to the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey, Secret Army Exhibition, World of Top Gear and On Screen Cars.

Tickets can be bought in advance online at beaulieu.co.uk or by calling 01590 612345.
