This time next month, the doors open to The Lost Kingdom, Paulton's Park's new attraction, featuring two new rollercoasters and a host of dinosaur themed rides.

Paulton's Park are keeping tight lipped about how work is progressing - but they have posted this footage on their YouTube channel giving a glimpse of what it will be like to ride the new coasters.

The Flight of the Pterosaur is the park's first family suspended rollercoaster (think Nemesis but less intense, at 55kmph compared with Nemesis at 80kmph) while the Velociraptor sees you hoisted backwards into the air before hurtling back through the station on a boomerang-style ride that hits speeds of 40kmph.

Other new additions include the Dinosaur Tour Co., a  jeep expedition coming face to face with the animatronic dinosaurs, a junior dinosaur roller coaster and an outdoor dinosaur-themed adventure play park area for young children.

Gates to the Lost Kingdom open on May 17 and you can get more information, including how tall/old your children have to be to ride, here.
