IT will soon be time to get on your running shoes for this year's Rotary Easter Quarter Marathon in Bournemouth.

The popular event, which attracts hundreds of runners, will take place on Easter Saturday, April 15.

The charity run begins and finishes on the promenade next to Boscombe Pier, taking in the length of the promenade towards Hengistbury Head and returning in a loop via East Overcliff Drive.

The Rotary club will be supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Royal Bournemouth Hospital and the Narayan Devi School in Nepal, one of the schools destroyed in the earthquake in 2015.

Open to all runners, further details and applications can be made via Bournemouth East Cliff Rotary Club website at http://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=340533&ClubID=1564 or through Runnersworld, EventBrite or Run Britain.
