ORGANISERS of this year’s Purbeck Marathon have advised runners to enter soon to avoid missing out.
Runners are signing up thick and fast for the event, which starts and finishes in Swanage on September 15.
Entries will close on August 31 or earlier if the limit is reached before.
Numbers are limited due to the nature of the course terrain, which includes the Jurassic Coast path, Worth Matravers, Tyneham and Corfe Castle.
The Purbeck Marathon, now in its second year, was ranked third best in the UK by Runner’s World magazine last year.
Race director Rose Clarke said: “For 2013, we have increased the number of places available.”
Entry is online or with an entry form from purbeckmarathon.co.uk.
