THERE are just a few days left for General Election candidates to deliver nomination papers.

Candidates have to hand over the papers to Returning Officers by 4pm on Thursday, with the same deadline set for candidates to withdraw from the process.

Residents have until April 20 to register to vote with the deadline for postal votes and postal proxy votes set as 5pm on Tuesday, April 21.

Polling cards have already started landing on doormats across Dorset already with many candidates stepping up their campaigning across the county's constituencies.
