Bournemouth will be looking to take the top spot in the Championship with a win at Fulham.

After midweek results went their way, Bournemouth have been presented with an opportunity to top the league going into Saturday’s fixtures. Fulham will be looking for 3 points in order to edge further away from the dreaded relegation zone.

Team News

Bournemouth are missing Dan Gosling and Eunan O’Kane due to injury.

Scott Parker is likely to return to action for Fulham. Tim Hoogland, Fernando Amorebieta and Hugo Rodellega are available for selection after spells on the side-lines. Fulham will be without midfielder Lasse Christensen.

Form Guide

Neither team looks completely convincing going into this game. Bournemouth ended a 5 game winless streak against promotion pushers Wolves in their last game which could give the team a confidence boost before their trip to Craven Cottage.

Fulham pulled off a win over second place Derby County last week but have only picked up 7 points in their last 6 games.

Ones to Watch

Fulham’s £11million striker, Ross McCormack, has had a turbulent period at the club but he is their top goal scorer finding the net 10 times this season. He will be the biggest threat going forward for Fulham.

Yann Kermorgant has been key in nearly all of the Cheeries goals since the end of January. He has been involved in 10 goals in 7 games since 30th January.

Head to Head

This is the first season Bournemouth have come up against The Cottagers in the league. The Cherries secured a comfortable 2-0 win at the Goldsands in the previous outing.

Coverage

You can catch the game live on Sky Sports 1. Alternatively you can watch the highlights on The Football League show the following day.

Prediction

Fulham 1-3 Bournemouth

After Bournemouth’s victory against Wolves mid-week, they will be full of confidence and looking to get back into the top 2. Despite beating Derby last weekend Fulham have not been convincing of late and should struggle against The Cherries.
