The Students’ Union at Bournemouth University is moving home! From Monday 23rd March all of SUBU’s departments and services will be found in the new £10.6 million Student Centre on Talbot Campus.

The new building features five floors, all of which have been designed with students at their focus.

On the ground floor students will be able to find ‘Ground Up’, a brand new café offering food, drink, and your usual chance to pick up a morning Starbucks. Up one level and you’ll find the offices of the four Full-Time Officers as well as the new home of the Purple Army.

The second floor brings together both SUBU Activities and Advice, while floor three offers plenty of areas to relax after a long day on Campus – including another place to grab a bite to eat.

Towards the top of the building on floor four you’ll find the new home of the award winning Nerve Radio and Nerve Magazine, featuring two state-of-the-art radio studios. The final floor offers great views over the rest of Campus and beyond!

The move to the new Student Centre brings to an end over twenty years of the Students’ Union being based on the second floor of Poole House.

For any students wanting to find out more about the new building, SUBU will be offering tours on the hour and at half past the hour between 9am-2pm on Monday 23rd March.
