Science teacher Alan Pike, who has been at the school for four years, said: “It’s an amazing place to work. It’s great to work with the girls, who are incredible. We’re all heading in the same direction.”

Assistant head Guy Trotman has been at the school for over 30 years. He said: “The school has achieved a lot over the past few years. The students are fantastic; we aim to give them many opportunities.”

Tammy Horne, a teaching assistant and mother of a year 10 student said: “My daughter has done very well here. She has gone from the lower sets to the highest. She also does Duke of Edinburgh”

CMIS timetabler Kathy Jackson, who has also had two daughters go through Glenmoor, said: My youngest is in year 11 and my eldest is doing her A-levels elsewhere. Glenmoor has been great and done them proud.”

Outgoing head girl Alice Fish, 16, has been at the school since year 7, said: “I’ve loved my time here. I’ve had so many opportunities, including world challenge. I’ve also done dance competitions.”

Newly elected head girl Jaymee Stronach, 15, said she was happy at Glenmoor, adding: “I joined the school in September. I have been given lots of opportunities in my time here so far.”

Peter Masterman, the site manager, whose son goes to Winton Boys next door, said: “The school is very friendly. The school has improved greatly since I’ve worked here. The head has done a great job.”
