A MULTI-MILLION pound refurbishment at Christ the King School in Bournemouth has finally been completed.
For more than six years the school in Durdells Avenue has been undergoing a major renovation, which has included a new key-stage two building, a new hall, expanded classrooms, new play areas as well as new staff room facilities. The final part of the project was completed earlier this year.
Headteacher Clare Tickel said: “Since 2012 the school has been a bit of a building site. But now the work is finally finished we are so pleased with the lovely school environment we now have. It has gone a long way to boost morale for both children and staff.”
Mrs Tickel also thanked the builders, developers and architects for all their support.
