BOURNEMOUTH University has been placed second in a list of ‘10 of the Best UK Universities by the Sea,’ published by TopUniversities.com.
The website, which publishes worldwide university rankings, guides and events, featured the university and praised the natural beauty of the New Forest and Jurassic Coast.
It said: “The University is particularly renowned for its media courses and programs dedicated to niche subjects such as food marketing and forensic archaeology. Students at Bournemouth University will get to enjoy a blend of a traditional British seaside resort with a busy and thriving town.”
Chloe Schendel-Wilson, President of Bournemouth University’s Students Union, said: “It's really good to see yet another award going to BU and Bournemouth in general, as the area is really on the up.
“So many students love living by the beach. It creates such a nice atmosphere and makes Bournemouth a great place to be a student.”
