ACCOUNTANCY can be fun as this team from Princecroft Willis has set out to prove.

The young recruits, who recently took part in a Stars In Their Eyes event as the Village People, have been chosen to highlight the careers available within the industry.

Often seen as a boring job, accountancy offers many opportunities to school leavers and Princecroft Willis is holding an open evening at its Poole offices to show what it has to offer.

The free event, on Tuesday, October 14, is aimed at school students in Years 11, 12 and 13. Parents are also welcome to come along for support.

James Robinson, PcW Partner, said: “A career in accountancy is more than just maths and numbers. Believe it or not we do actually have fun.

“Students attending will hear from our team about their experiences.

“They can also speak to our accounts and tax apprentices on a one to one basis.

“We take on apprentices each school leaving year as part of our industry accredited training programme.

“A number of our former apprentices are now heading up their own teams within the firm.

“This is an excellent opportunity for young people to find out more about working in a sector which, despite its stereotypical image, can be exciting, varied and provide great job satisfaction.”

Free refreshments will be provided at the event which is held at Towngate House, 2-8 Parkstone Road, Poole, from 6pm until 8pm.

Space is limited and anyone thinking of attending should register first by emailing lindsey.drake@princecroftwillis.co.uk or calling 01202 663628 with their name and contact details.

Princecroft Willis has offices in Poole and New Milton.
