TO celebrate National Engineering and Science Week Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth welcomed guest speaker Dr Jan Peters.
Dr Peters is the managing director of Katalytik, a company which provides connections between scientists and policy makers and promotes knowledge transfer.
She is currently the UK ambassador to the American Association for Computing Machinery. Dr Peters discussed her personal career journey into engineering, from starting out as an 18 year old science journalist, to then gaining degrees in chemistry, oceanography and engineering.
