A SHORT time ago in a seaside town not all that far, far away...
The force was certainly with couple David and Sarah Brock when they tied the knot in Swanage.
Star Wars fanatic David and bride Sarah, along with a large proportion of their guests, dressed as characters from the famous films for their unique wedding.
The bride and groom became lovers Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker for their special day, while other familiar faces in the wedding crowd included Princess Leia, Darth Vader and even Yoda.
The happy couple's children, nine-month-old Maddie and three-year-old Maisy-May, were dressed as Padme's handmaidens for the service.
"It was fantastic and a really great day," said David.
"We were at a wedding a couple of years ago which was fairly traditional and we decided then we wanted to do something a bit more fun and a bit of a laugh.
"It was actually Sarah's idea and when she said we should have a Star Wars theme I said That's perfect'.
"I think she's been witness to my obsession so much she accepts she can't get away from it!"
It was the Star Wars theme, rather than the wedding march, which greeted the couple's arrival to the Swanage Conservative Club.
The pair, who met four years ago and live in Swanage, are now visiting family in Hertfordshire on their honeymoon.
