THE air ambulance was called after a man fell unwell in a lorry parked off the A351 near Corfe Castle.
Emergency services were contacted shortly after 12.30pm today after the man fell ill.
The lorry was parked in a layby near the Halfway Inn.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "The road is partially blocked while paramedics treat the man.
"The air ambulance is also at the scene."
There were delays both ways between Corfe Castle and Stoborough Green as a result of the incident.
The road was reopened around 2.30pm.
