A FUNERAL service was held for teenager Gaia Pope today.
The 19-year-old’s body was found close to the cliff edge near Swanage 11 days after she was reported missing on November 7.
It sparked a major, multi-agency search, which also involved hundreds of town residents, Gaia’s family, friends and supporters.
Family and friends attended a private funeral in Poole earlier this afternoon.
Last month, the community gathered to pay their respects to Gaia at an emotional vigil at Swanage Amphitheatre in Prince Albert Gardens.
A post mortem examination did not identify any injuries to suggest any other person was involved in her death. The official cause of death is yet to be determined.
