THERE’s just over a week to go until the Swanage Carnival comes to town.

The popular annual event runs between Saturday, July 29 and Saturday, August 5 with more than 100 events taking place for all ages.

The opening weekend sees the return of Motorbike Stunt Display team with professional riders carrying death defying stunts and the popular Dog and Duck show.

Thousands are set to turn out for the carnival procession at 3pm on Sunday, July 30.

The theme for this year’s spectacle is ‘Swanage Goes Global’ with organisers inviting people to take their inspiration from around the world.

And it’s not too late to get involved in the parade, entry forms can be found on the website at swanagecarnival.com.

Dare devils will be able to fly over Prince Albert Gardens and take in views of Swanage Bay when the zip wire makes a return for the festivities thanks local company, JM Adventure.

There will also be Titan the Robot, seven nights of live music, carnival bingo and three fantastic firework displays.

While the closing weekend will see the return of the FreeDrop Airbag.
