TWO Swanage lifeboats headed for the Dancing Ledge area this afternoon after a woman fell and suffered a suspected broken leg while coasteering.
Communications had proved difficult to the UK Coastguard so the decision was made to launch both boats just before 4pm.
By the time they arrived St Albans coastguard had arrived and met the casualty, who had made her way partly back to the top of the ridge.
She was helped back to a car and taken to hospital by road.
Both lifeboats were back on their slipways by 4.25pm.
