THE countdown to Camp Bestival is now underway and the full line up of who to see and when is now confirmed for the tenth birthday celebrations

Organiser Rob da Bank says: “There’s only 40 days to go until this year’s 10th birthday Camp Bestival, and now that we can reveal all the action day by day, the excitement in the da Bank household has hit fever pitch.

"Yes indeed, with the likes of Mark Ronson, All Saints and Big Fish Little Fish on Friday, Madness, School of Rock, and our old mate Mr Tumble on Saturday, and pop god Brian Wilson, Leftfield and Reginald D Hunter on Sunday, there’s loads for everyone to do.

"Add in family entertainment throughout the weekend, mouth-watering food and some rather tasty cocktails and you’ve got a Pop Star & Rock Star party like no other. And if you can’t make it for the whole weekend, come and hang out for a day! I’ll see ya down the front.”

Mark Ronson will be hitting the decks for his headline set on Friday 28th July, There will be more music across the castle grounds from All Saints, Ray BLK, Becky Hill, The Cuban Brothers, Mexrrissey, Reverend & The Makers, T’Pau, The Blockheads, and Louis Berry. And we’ll also have a West End Kids workshop, family friendly rave action from Big Fish Little Fish and Junior Jungle.

The nutty fun on Saturday 29th July will be topped by singalong faves Madness. Don’t miss sets from our special guest Holly Johnson, The Bootleg Beatles, Kate Nash, Alice Jemima, The Smiths Ltd, Skream and a Raindance takeover featuring Billy Daniel Bunter, Alter-8 and more.

While family fun comes courtesy of a festival exclusive appearance from the cast of School of Rock – The Musical, cheeky champs Dick and Dom, CB legend Mr Tumble, plus Mister Maker, Meet the Bolds with Julian Clary & David Roberts, West End Kids and The Crumble Lady.

And there will be plenty of interactive delights including the Fancy Dress Parade, the fiercely contested Pimp My Trolley competition, and highly coiffured Beard & Moustache competition.

Sunday 30th July will see our 10th Camp Bestival brought to a triumphant close by Brian Wilson presents Pet Sounds and Leftfield presents Leftism 22. There’s plenty of Pop Star shenanigans from Louisa Johnson, Right Said Fred, Los Pacaminos Ft Paul Young, Lightning Seeds, and Anne-Marie, with Big Top comedy headlined by Reginald D Hunter.

Family action comes courtesy of Kidocracy, Liz Pichon & The Tom Gates Brilliant Bands & Doodle Show, Gareth P Jones: Ninja Alien Dinosaur Party, and marking our 2017 finale will be the Son Et Lumière Castle Fireworks Spectacular.
