A TEENAGE boy was punched repeatedly in the head and kicked in the stomach during an assault in Swanage.
Police say the incident, which involved two 15-year-old boys from the town, happened in an alleyway of Marsh Way at 9.30pm on Sunday, May 28.
The victim was pushed to the ground and punched at least five times.
He was also kicked in the stomach and the legs, it is reported.
The assaulted stopped when a resident heard a noise and went into the alleyway to find out what was happening.
The victim did not require any hospital treatment.
A 15-year-old boy from Swanage has been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Lucy Cummings, of Weymouth CID, called who witnessed the assault or saw the teenagers in the alley to come forward and contact police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101.
