TWO men have been arrested following a pursuit between Wareham and Corfe Mullen involving the police helicopter.
A police spokesman said that a vehicle failed to stop for police on the A351 in Wareham yesterday afternoon, adding that two men decamped from the vehicle and were later arrested following a search.
On Twitter, the National Police Air Service Bournemouth confirmed that its helicopter assisted Purbeck police with a pursuit and decamp in Corfe Mullen before the wanted people were located and detained.
Purbeck patrol sergeant, Roan Doyle, also posting on Twitter, said that two people wanted on recall to prison were in custody for various offences following a pursuit between Wareham and Corfe Mullen.
