Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 53-year-old man from Swanage.

Barry Cullimore, of Haycrafts Lane, was last seen leaving his address in a blue Vauxhall Astra estate at around 6.30am on Friday, October 28.

He is described as white, five feet ten inches tall, with brown medium-length hair and beard and of medium build.

He was last seen wearing a bright blue puffer jacket and dark trousers.

The car is described as having a roof rack, GB sticker and has a Mark 4 body shape.

The registration number is DY04 ULA.

Police Inspector Simon Perry, of Dorset Police, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Barry as we know he may have been upset when he left his home and has not been in contact with his family since.

"Barry is physically active and a keen walker and is known to visit various coastal areas and beauty spots across the Purbecks and the county.

"We would ask that anyone who sees someone matching Barry's description or the vehicle he was driving to contact the police urgently.

"Finally, I would appeal directly to Barry if you see this appeal please get in touch with us. Your family are very worried and want to know that you are safe."

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Barry's whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 28:51.
