FIRE crews were called to a blaze at an outbuilding near Stoborough last night.

A fire inspector is due to return to the property this morning.

Four crews from Wareham and Poole were called to Barnhill Road in Ridge where a shipping container being used to dry logs was on fire.

Initially two appliances were called to the scene at 9.33pm with two more crews called as well.

A re-inspection is due to take place today at 9.30am.

No one was reported to be injured.

A stop message was issued at 11.46pm but the final crew did not return to their station until 1.50am this morning.
