In April this year, the presenter tweeted pictures of himself in Dorset and also on top of a tank on the same day with readers sending pictures in to the Echo of the team filming at Lulworth Range.

At the time a British Army spokesman confirmed that it was working with the new show in Dorset.

In the new trailer, which is the longest glimpse yet that we've got of the show,Clarkson, along with co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond, can be seen firing a tank at a van.

The scenery surrounding the vehicles definitely seems to suggest that this is Lulworth Range.

Clarkson tweeted at the time that he was enjoying a "particularly unterrible" Dorset morning.

We'll have to wait until at least November 18, when the first episode is streamed, to see what else Dorset has to offer the show.
