Man found dead in underpass near train station
A MAN has been found dead at the underpass of Wareham train station.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said officers were called to reports over a concern for welfare, at 1am on Thursday.
"The body of a local man, aged in his 40s, was located near to Wareham train station and, despite the best efforts of police and paramedics he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene," the spokesman said.
The man's next of kin have been informed, as has the coroner.
His death is not being treated as suspicious, the spokesman added.
