THE A35 at Morden Park Corner has reopened following a crash.
The incident between the A351 Bakers Arms roundabout and A31 Shell roundabout at Bere Regis took place around 2.15am this morning.
The road reopened at 6.30am.
One person has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving offences.
A spokesperson from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 2.28am, and that the car - a silver Hyundai - had left the road.
“We removed the casualty from the vehicle by the removal of the roof and left them in the care of the ambulance service,” she said.
Two crews were sent from Bere Regis and Poole to extricate the person, and the stop message was issued at 3.01am.
The extent of the person’s injuries are not yet known.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed a 24-year-old man from Poole had been arrested and had been taken to Dorset County Hospital.
