THE Dorset Waterpark is now officially open for business.

Park director Liz Turner told the Daily Echo Purbeck's latest attraction is looking good and the feedback from visitors has been really positive.

Speaking to the Echo earlier today, Liz added: "The main lake is open and the second lake will be opened this weekend coming "We are getting great feedback from people. We're definitely now open for business. We are taking bookings."

The park, set in an 11-acre woodland site close to Corfe Castle includes slides, a trampoline, gladiator rings, jumps, hurdles, bridges, monkey bars and loads more.

Liz said: "The best way to describe what we have here is an inflatable assault course.

"On the main lake, which is the same size as two Olympic swimming pools, we have a big assault course - a rectangular course made up of lots of different items.

"It is all modular so we will be able to swap things around very easily."

This is the first summer the Dorset Waterpark has been operating. Attractions include Castle Lake, The Spinner and High Roller.

Dorset Waterpark is based at Arfleet Mill Lakes, Studland Road, Corfe Castle.

Meanwhile, earlier this month the New Forest Aqua Park also opened for the summer season.

New Forest Aqua Park managing director Mark Jury said: "The park has been running for more than 26 years now and after the overwhelming response to our Wibit Aqua Park modules, last year, we knew we had to double the size and the reaction has been fantastic."
