FIRE and ambulance crews were called to a school in Purbeck after a boy's arm became trapped in a piece of gym equipment.
Firefighters were sent to Purbeck View School in Swanage around 6.40pm to help free the 15-year-old's arm from the mechanism of a cross trainer.
Paramedics took the patient to Poole Hospital with an arm injury.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crew used small hand tools to release the casualty from the cross trainer."
