A TURKEY taken in at Margaret Green Animal Rescue Centre has found love at a sanctuary in Sussex.
The Turkey, named Gregory Peck by staff, apparently has two girlfriends at his new home at the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare.
Margaret Green Animal Rescue centre manager Kate Wickins explained: "Gregory is a lovely bird with a big character and we've loved caring for him during his stay with us.
"However, we all know Gregory will be much happier with some friends of his own kind and we wish him all the luck in his own home.
"Gregory is in his element at Raystede, with two girlfriends to look after, Mrs Turkey and Mistletoe."
Gregory was found wandering the streets of Dorset by the RSPCA earlier this year.
A member of the Raystede animal care team said: "Our resident hen turkeys. Mrs Turkey and Mistletoe were very excited and both were looking forward to having a little romance in their lives."
