POLICE are appealing for witnesses after four pedestrians were knocked down and sustained serious injuries in Swanage Friday afternoon.
The casualties, aged between 24 and 86, were all conveyed to Poole Hospital with serious injuries.
Two remain in a stable but serious conditon.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened at around 2.30pm on Institute Road.
A red Seat Ibiza being driven by a 21-year-old man from Wareham collided with the pedestrians.
No arrests have been made.
