TELECOM giant Vodafone has confirmed its 4G network has arrived in Swanage.

The company says 4G is typically six times faster than its existing 3G network, meaning all Red 4G customers should be able to connect to the internet more quickly and reliably.

A spokesman said: “The arrival of ultrafast 4G also brings Vodafone customers the ability to take advantage of a wide range of entertainment content whether at home or on the go.”

Vodafone says it has now extended its 4G coverage to 351 cities, towns and districts.

“The rollout of 4G services is part of the £1billion Vodafone is spending across its network and services in the UK this year.”
