EVER fancied being a local reporter?

We’re looking for community correspondents to help us bring you all the news from Swanage and the surrounding area.

This paper is your voice, and we want you to tell us what’s happening at grassroots level.

There is no age barrier and no experience in writing or reporting is necessary. We can talk you through what's required and offer support along the way.

We want you to tell us what is happening in your village, however small or seemingly insignificant, from meetings in the village hall to local children's achievements.

We can’t get to every event that happens or hear about all the good things that are happening in local communities.

But we would love to report every one of those events and publish the details of every community issue that matters.

Community correspondents will play a vital role in making this site as relevant as possible – tell us what's happening on your street, in your school or at your workplace.

Fundraisers, success stories, meetings and shows – we want to share it all.

You can already send your news direct to us by using the Send Your News form. Tell us your news, send us pictures and video, or write your own report in your own voice, and we’ll publish it.

Or, if you are interested in signing up as a community correspondent and would like more details, email digital@bournemouthecho.co.uk
