Did you spot a Lancaster flying over Poole?

EAGLE-eyed Poole residents might have spotted a 1945 Lancaster flying over the town at around noon on Wednesday.

The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight plane was on her way to the Jersey International Air Display, having set off from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire before a fly past at RAF Lyneham, Wiltshire.

Yes we saw it at work. Lovely sight and a fitting tribute to the 55,000 men who died during their service with Bomber Command. Lest We Forget.
