A MAN was threatened with a meat cleaver in Poole yesterday.
The incident happened in Ashley Road at 5.15pm.
Officers attended and a 47-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, possessing a bladed article in a public place and criminal damage to a vehicle.
He is assisting officers with enquiries as their investigation continues.
Dorset Police said nobody was injured during the incident.
