A PACKED schedule of Christmas events has been planned for Poole this year.
Starting on Thursday, November 30, the events include a water fountain laser projection show, which is coming to Poole for the first time, as well as fireworks, live music and a winter bar.
There will be two Christmas tree lights switch on events this year - one at Poole Quay and another at Falkland Square.
The Christmas extravaganza, which has been organised by Poole BID, will see a Christmas market on Poole Quay on December 2 and 3.
Santa Claus will arrive on a City Cruises boat to Poole Quay at 11am on Sunday, December 3. He will then parade through Poole on his Christmas train with the Mayor of Poole, Lindsay Wilson and the stars of the Lighthouse pantomime, Cinderella.
Santa’s procession will start at Poole Quay, moving towards Old Orchard and then through the High Street to Falkland Square.
Les Robertson, Poole BID manager, said: "Poole’s Christmas Extravaganza is going to be a spectacle to behold this year with plenty of live entertainment and lights galore.
"There truly will be something for everyone to enjoy.
"Other seasonal activities and festive competitions with fantastic prizes to be won, also organised by Poole BID, will take place throughout December, but Poole’s Christmas Extravaganza will be held over four days starting on Thursday, November 30.”
