A man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury following a collision in Poole.
The collision, which occurred at 6.47am on Thursday in Blandford Road, involved a bicycle and a white Toyota IQ.
The cyclist - a local man aged in his 50s - sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the car - a local man aged in his 20s - was uninjured.
Police Constable Lee Savage, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the manner of driving or riding of either the car or bicycle immediately prior to the incident, to please contact Dorset Police.”
