The Sandbanks Ferry was suspended for around three hours on Monday morning due to high tide.
Around 8.30am, they tweeted: “Service suspended due to high tide/ wind making boarding impossible. Should only be for an hour and a half”.
The service was back up and running around 11.30am once tide had subsided.
