A NUMBER of pieces of jewellery and a smartphone were stolen during a burglary in Poole.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the raid at a property in The Avenue.

It happened sometime between Tuesday, January 10, and Tuesday, January 28.

The stolen items of jewellery include three rings, one of which was sapphire, a diamond bracelet and two men’s Ebel watches, which are described as steel and gold.

A gold-coloured iPhone 5S was also stolen.

Police Constable Mark Palmer, of Dorset Police, said: “I am releasing pictures of some of the items of stolen jewellery and am appealing to anyone who has seen these items, or any of the other items described, for sale under suspicious circumstances to please contact Dorset Police.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously around The Avenue during the relevant times.”
