POLICE have launched an investigation after an injured man was found at a property in Poole.

Officers were called to Good Road in Parkstone yesterday after reports that a man had been hurt.

The casualty has been rushed to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: “At 9.25am today, Sunday, January 29, a male was found within a property in Good Road with injuries to his abdomen and neck.

“He is receiving medical treatment in hospital.

“The cause of his injuries remains unexplained.

“Dorset Police is treating it as an isolated incident.

“Officers are appealing for any witnesses or those with information to contact Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 29:126.”

It comes after residents reported the air ambulance landing at nearby Turner's Field around 9.30am.

A spokesperson for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance confirmed they had been called to an incident.
