A MAN suffered serious facial injuries in an unprovoked attack outside a Poole wine bar.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at 2.15am on Sunday November 27 outside Patricks wine bar on Bournemouth Road.
A 20-year-old local man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The offender is described as a white man aged in his mid-20s and around five feet ten inches tall. He has very short hair and was described as scruffy in appearance.
No arrests have been made.
Detective Constable Aston Starkie, of Bournemouth CID, said: "This was an unprovoked attack and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to officers to come forward.
"I would also like to hear from anyone who saw a man matching the description given in the area at the relevant time to please contact us."
